Hessam Nowzari | حسام نوذری

دکتر حسام نوذری از چهره‌های معتبر و دانشگاهی در رشته پریودنتولوژی و ایمپلنتولوژی است. او دارای مدرک دکترای زیست‌شناسی و علوم بهداشتی بوده و به‌عنوان دیپلمات هیئت تخصصی پریودنتولوژی آمریکا (American Board of Periodontology) شناخته می‌شود. دکتر نوذری علاوه بر تخصص در درمان‌های پیشرفته ایمپلنت، بازسازی زیبایی بافت پریودنتال و بازسازی کامل دهان، سابقه مدیریت برنامه پریودنتیکس پیشرفته در دانشگاه کالیفرنیای جنوبی (USC School of Dentistry) را نیز دارد.

او یکی از دو بنیان‌گذار آکادمی دندان‌پزشکی ترمیمی تایپه (Taipei Academy of Restorative Dentistry — TARD) در تایوان است و به‌همراه دکتر آلن توآن، از معدود اعضای آمریکایی آکادمی علوم پزشکی دولتی دنیپروپتروفسک در اوکراین به‌شمار می‌رود.

از سال ۲۰۰۲، دکتر نوذری به عنوان کارشناس علمی منتخب در هیئت بین‌المللی ارزیابی و رتبه‌بندی تحقیقات پزشکی برای وزارت آموزش و تحقیقات ایتالیا، در حوزه مهندسی پزشکی خدمت کرده است. در سال ۲۰۰۴، او به عضویت هیئت متخصصان ایتالیا برای ارزیابی ایمنی و اثرات محصولات پزشکی انتخاب شد و از سال ۲۰۱۲ عضو فعال کمیته ارزیابی آژانس ملی دانشگاه‌ها و مؤسسات تحقیقاتی (ANVUR) در ایتالیاست.

دکتر نوذری علاوه بر فعالیت‌های دانشگاهی و درمانی، سابقه سردبیری در نشریات علمی بین‌المللی دارد و به عنوان سردبیر مجله Parodontologie et Implantologie Orale در فرانسه و همچنین سردبیر مهمان یکی از منابع مرجع برجسته حوزه پریودنتولوژی، یعنی Periodontology 2000، شناخته می‌شود.

او  کنار فعالیت‌های علمی خود، مستندساز نیز هست. فیلم‌های مستند کوتاه او، از جمله «چه چیزی لبخند حتشپسوت را کشت؟» و «زنی که فرعون بود؟» برنده جایزه شایستگی مسابقه بین‌المللی Accolade در سال ۲۰۱۲ برای خلاقیت هنری برجسته‌ در فیلم و مستندسازی شده‌اند.

Dr. Hesham Nowzari is an internationally recognized periodontist and implant specialist with extensive expertise in aesthetic periodontal therapy, full‑mouth reconstruction, and minimally invasive implant surgery. He holds a Doctorate in Biology and Health Sciences and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. Nowzari previously served as Director of Advanced Periodontics at the University of Southern California (USC School of Dentistry). He co‑founded the Taipei Academy of Restorative Dentistry (TARD) in Taiwan alongside Dr. Allen Tuan and is one of only two American members of the Dnipropetrovsk State Academy of Medical Sciences in Ukraine.

Since 2002, Dr. Nowzari has served as a Scientific Expert on an international committee reviewing biomedical engineering projects for the Italian Ministry of Education and Research, and since 2012 as a member of ANVUR (the National Agency for University and Research Evaluation in Italy). He was appointed to Italy’s National Board of Medical Experts in 2004 for evaluation of medical products and patient safety.

Dr. Nowzari serves as Guest Editor for Parodontologie et Implantologie Orale (France) and Periodontology 2000, two leading scholarly journals in periodontics and implantology. Beyond academia, he is an award‑winning documentary filmmaker; his films “What Killed Hatshepsut’s Smile?” and “The Woman Who Was a Pharaoh?” won the Accolade 2012 Award of Merit for creative excellence in film and media.
