Arleen Azar-Mehr | آرلین آذرمهر

دکتر آرلین آذرمهر، که بیشتر با نام دکتر آذر شناخته می‌شود، تحصیلات دندان‌پزشکی و آموزش تخصصی خود در ارتودنسی را در دانشگاه University of Southern California (USC) به پایان رساند. او دارای مدرک دکترای دندان‌پزشکی (DDS) و همچنین مدرک کارشناسی ارشد (MS) در رشته زیست‌شناسی جمجمه و صورت (Craniofacial Biology) از همان دانشگاه است.

دکتر آذرمهر در خانواده‌ای دندان‌پزشک به دنیاآمد؛ او دندان‌پزشک نسل سوم است. پدربزرگ مادری وی اولین رئیس دانشکده دندانپزشکی در دانشگاه ملی سئول در کره بود، و والدینش هر دو دندان‌پزشک و اعضای هیئت علمی دانشگاه USC هستند. همسرش نیز ارتودنتیست است.

علاوه بر فعالیت در مطب خصوصی، او پیش‌تر در بخش ارتودنسی دانشکده دندانپزشکی UCLA به تدریس پرداخته است. دکتر آذر رئیس سابق انجمن فارغ‌التحصیلان ارتودنسی USC نیز بوده و در انجمن‌های حرفه‌ای متعدد در سطح ایالتی و ملی فعالیت دارد.

Dr. Arleen Azar‑Mehr, known as Dr. Azar, earned both her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and Master of Science (MS) degrees in Craniofacial Biology from the University of Southern California (USC), where she completed her orthodontic training.

She is a third‑generation dentist; her maternal grandfather was the first Dean of Dentistry at Seoul National University, and her parents are both dentists and faculty members at USC School of Dentistry. Her husband is also a practicing orthodontist.

In addition to private practice, Dr. Azar previously taught in the Department of Orthodontics at the UCLA School of Dentistry. She is a past President of the USC Orthodontic Alumni Association, and an active member in multiple professional orthodontic organizations.
